About Me – Full Bio
I am a former public school teacher turned Assistant Attorney General (AAG) with the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. I currently work as a family lawyer and mediator working on primarily on family and civil mediations mainly in southeast Texas, but also licensed in Florida. I am of-counsel to the Justice by Carter Law Firm. Since 2009 I have worked to help parties resolve their legal disputes in court, and more recently through mediation and arbitration. I mediate because I enjoy helping families resolve their legal disputes. I have operated my Pierre-Louis & Associates, PLLC Law Firm in Houston since 2014, host the Lawyers & Mediators International LMIPodcast and its YouTube Channel, edit the blog YourChildSupportLawyer.com, and run ChildSupportMediation.com. Due to my passion in helping parties resolve their legal disputes outside of the courtroom, I founded InstantMediators.com and run LMINetwork.com, a network of sites dedicated to the law, conflict resolution, technology, and media. My believe is whether it’s a co-parenting dispute over kids or a conflict between business partners, I believe people should attempt to mediate it fast and move on, or get it in front of a judge for swift resolution, because life is too short to be stuck living in legal stress.
