WHAT’S NEW IN TEXAS CALCULATOR VERSION 3.0–Calculate Withholding

Now when you calculate child support using the TX Calculator App, you will see green “Calculate Wage Withholding” icons that help calculate withholding amounts due from the obligor based on how he is paid: monthly, semi-monthly, bi-weekly, and weekly.

For example, if an obligor’s monthly child support amount is $500/mo, then his withholding amounts are:

$500 if he’s paid once a month;

$250 if he’s paid semi-monthly (aka twice a month);Iphone-6-Version-3-New

$230.77 if he’s paid bi-weekly (aka every other week);

$115.38 if he’s paid once a week.

This new feature will let users know quickly how much an obligor will have deducted from his paychecks
